+ 1 for Waze. I also use it whenever I take trips further than about 50 km, wether I know the road or not. Handy to get road/traffic alerts, and to help fellow motorists.
 
What do you guys use as a calculator? I used an awesome app that was called "Calculations" and couldn't find it on the play store to re-install when I changed my ROM. I was able to restore it using Titanium Backup from a Nandroid backup...

I like it cause it does measurement conversions (feet to inches to meters to miles, etc) as well as currency conversions (not sure if this is updated now that the app is no longer available?) as well as a tipping calculator (enter bill amount, number of people and % tip and it works out the cost per person).

Seems it was made by a local company, Apex Technology, but the links to the Play store don't work anymore... http://apextechnology.co.za/

Probably the most obvious useful app for all of us, but I know some here ;) still use the mybroadband version which is now quite far behind the main tapatalk app. It just had a big update with a bit of a make over. Menu moved to the right hand side which works better for one handed use on my big note 4.

Downloaded it now, looks nice, but where is the subscribed threads tab? Some animations are a bit slow.

Your first post in here ;) is to give people schit about Waze and then when you try to participate, I give you a friendly reminder to provide the link and a reason why you recommend the app. An attitude like this is why people are giving gears.
 
Not sure I like the new Tapatalk layout. Especially if the topic heading is a bit long, it seems to clash with the heading.

Maybe I just need some time to get used to it.

Yea I came from tapatalk pro to this tapatalk vip thing.

Takes some getting used to but not much.

Its crap the new version. Too much writing every where and as you said too big. No way of getting rid of it

Edit: it took me half an hour to find this thread to post, its that irritating

I suspect it looks nice on a tablet, which is what the developer knob used when designing this update. :(

It sucks on a phone.
