Android Useful Apps

I tried Type and uninstalled it the second I saw the iOS interface. What don't you like about the Gmail app? I don't have any issues with it.

Gmail is too plain. For gmail I use inbox.

For exchange I use the Email app on my S6. New interface and works awesome. Saw that the blue app dont have the level of scheduling of mail pushing that the email app has.

My outlook mail sees no action.

/uninstalls type

Its good but i don't need it.

I use blue mail on my tablet - it's the only app l've tried that doesn't show the conversation view in landscape, you get the full screen width when viewing emails. The new gmail (material version) also opens the first email on tablets in landscape, regardless of which folder you're in.

The only gripes I have with blue mail are not updating the inbox and if you have your emails sorted into conversations, spurious mails sometimes get added to the conversation.

I tried Type yesterday. Wasn't receiving emails by push, so uninstall.

It's working very well for me, will give it a few days, but so far liking it. Only thing that's bugging me is the inconsistent front size in emails and inability to zoom.

the zoom function is a bit of a hassle

however, I see that as a minor issue. I like the fact that meeting requests from Outlook display properly and can be viewed and accepted without having to look at attachments

Zooms not a big issue, but it goes hand in hand with the font imbalance, some emails have large and overly easy legibility, while others are indescribably tiny. I get that's the nature of email, but what's then the purpose of no zoom.

Have you tried changing it in the settings? I must admit I have no problem with font size on my tablet, mine are on the tablet defaults.

I just discovered that the mail is zoomable if you stretch the body of the mail

I would have thought that was one of the first things that you would try

One really nice feature is the auto night and day settings - dark at night and light during the day.
