If you prefer something that's free, then try out Office Lens

KEY FEATURES:
  • With Whiteboard mode, Office Lens trims and cleans up glare and shadows.
  • With Document mode, Office Lens trims and colors images perfectly.
  • The scanned picture can be saved to your choice of OneNote, OneDrive, or locally on the device.
  • Business Card mode can extract contact information and save it into your address book and OneNote. This feature works best with the following business cards: English, German, Spanish and Simplified Chinese. Support for more languages is coming soon.
  • Choose to convert images to Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), or PDF (.pdf) files that are automatically saved to OneDrive.

Sure, but it's odd that you like vanilla when Nova is almost as vanilla as it gets. It's basically the stock launcher but with loads of nifty features and customisability.

yeh... i don't understand what he means either...

it's like saying:
"Steak with no spices" is better than "Steak with no spices, but salt on the side if you want it" :wtf:

Are you guys scanning invoices etc for tax purposes and then throwing the originals away?

You are required to keep the original documents for 5 years if I'm not mistaken.
Not any more apparently, digital is fine, I haven't had the balls yet to go fully digital with no paper backup so that's why I am asking.

If it is the case that you can go all-digital, just have multiple digital backups. Upload to two separate cloud storage facilities and you'll be fine.

No way. It's Cheetah Mobile, and therefore a trap. I'm already reading that the background process is a resource hog, and that the new permission gives the app the ability to fetch data. Which means they don't need you to update the app further to push something to the app that compels you to update it.

CM is evil. I'm definitely not updating to anything that they're responsible for.

Catching up on this thread and noticed no-one has linked the last legit pre-CheetahMobile version of Quickpic (Still one of the best pic viewer apps imho)

I am looking for a free app that can launch another app at a specified time each day. I currently use Phone Scheduler but it stops working after a few days.

Tasker and a few others, but would recommended Macrodroid - tried and tested
