Android Useful Apps

I have been using the Dropbox feature of uploading pics taken on the phone automatically when it hits my WiFi network to get my pics off the phone. This works brilliantly until you take a 1080p vid, 2 gig vid files uploaded and downloaded will gum up the internet connection a bit...

With this in mind I am thinking of reverting to my old solution https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sweesoft.sweethome&hl=en which worked well. Before I do though I wondered if any of you have used anything else I should look at too.

I used the Google+ app to do the same, but to G+, obviously. I think it would have the same result though, so not exactly what you are looking for. Are you using the paid for version of Sweet Home?

What Sweet Home does is copy the pics just over my network to a shared folder on my server, so 2 gig files are not an issue, as you say Dropbox and the Google + apps upload the pics over the net.

I used the free version/ nagware because at that time we couldn't buy it here, that seems to no longer be the case.

I am happy to use it again, I just wondered what other people use.

All Rugby SA is a great free app I came across...

South African Rugby App for your phone. Up to date logs, fixtures, results, news Logs, Fixtures, Results, News and more. All about South African Rugby and covers the Springboks, Super 15, Currie Cup, Vodacom Cup, o/21, o/19 and Varsity Cup.

Get it here

Can anyone recommend a good call blocker? Let's say I have incoming calls from known number I want to block- any recommend apps?

Call Master is probably the best, been using it for almost 2 years. Does require root, but that does allow it to block it basically on connection so the phone never rings, as far as I know its the only one that works that way.

Has other useful things like profiles, sms blocking, schedules. Think its about R40 but well worth it if those calls really annoy you, best of all is you can set it so that you will never even know it blocked them.

Re: Android useful app catalogue.

Try Perfect viewer, it is primarily a comic reader but I am now using it as my primary pdf reader, very slick
