Blocking Mode doesn't do that. However, Smart Actions on the Motorola RAZR does, and Tasker on any phone (although it's quite expensive)

Blocking Mode isn't the same thing though. You'd still want to receive calls and messages, just on silent/vibrate.

Mine does that
I'm on 4.2.1 and it just offers to block incoming calls and disable notifications, alarms, timers and LED lights.

I tested it and phone calls show as missed calls. If you want close family or friends to be able to contact you 24/7, you can allow those numbers to ring (important for me) whilst other numbers will be shown as missed calls. SMS come through without notifications. You can set alarms up properly so that should not be an issue. What I did notice though is that WhatsApp's notifications are not silent.

I am sure most of you know about DSLR Controller for your Canon camera's. This is a great app for managing and taking photo's. I normally love the fact that I can see the live view on my 10" instead of the small one on the camera (Great for Moon shots or others where you need to focus on details)
Well now there is a simular application for Nikon owners called BBQDSLR.
Yes they both are pricey but if the Nikon is anything close to the Canon counterpart I would say its well worth it.

There's an app called Bump. Not limited to 'droid. You install it on two devices and bump them together and they connect allowing you to transfer contacts, photos, etc.

Yes. We working on a competing one that does this directly between devices using NFC to transfer details to establish WiFi connection, unfortunately WP, iPhone and Android all wanna follow their own standards so it makes life a tad more difficult for this.

PC Version is rubbish, it sends out an email, thats like a completely seperate app compared to the phone, and there is no option ti "wifi" it to your phone.
