Did they lose all the cl rights or just in certain regions?

I'm not sure how it will effect ESPN's broadcasting but I suspect they wont be broadcasting CL matches at all next season.

I only read about this yesterday on The Guardian. They wrote about it because apparantly the Americans started a petition to get rid of Smyth.

Yeah, same here. Always hated seeing that a match I wanna watch is going to be broadcast on ESPN. I can't make out the players on the pitch and they have that rather large LIVE sign in the top right hand corner..

Also don't like Tommy Smyth..

Not really. ESPN has the rights to show serie a and la liga in australia but they don't have the rights to it for africa. So they might have lost the rights in america for cl but it doesn't mean they lost the rights to show it here .

That's why I would clarification if they lost all the rights or just some of the regions.

If we can get a channel like bskyb or sky italia who shows us all the cl matches on every match day that would be preferred for me.

Sky dont have the rites to all the champs league matches in the UK, only 1 day of the 2.
