Its actually the other way around - its a Toyota base that the surrender monkeys added their bodies and badges to.
Every manufacture has one person spending most of their time sitting at a dealership than they do in their cars, so its not fair to say you won't consider one manufacture because you heard stories about it or had a bad experience 5-10 years ago.
I don't own a Peugeot, yes I have heard the stories but it doesn't stop me from considering purchasing one of their newer vehicles
you mean cheese and snails eating surrender monkeys
so if its a toyota underneath then it might be not so bad, at least the mechanical's will last.
I am by no means a Toyota fan, to me it's the old Statsdiens kar and very expensive for what you get. Don't get me wrong I do respect their products and reliability as well as resale value but it's a yehggg car to me in general. Every tom dick and harry want's a Hi-lux or tuna.........
However this little "angry bird" is actually quite cute.
You get a lot lot more from the Aygo than you do from other vehicles in the price range.
One of the factors for me is where they are built.
Aygos are manufactured in the Czech Republic, whilst other cheap cars are made in the third world. They are not cheap because they are manufactured cheaply by cheap labour. They are cheap because they have been cleverly designed.
