Animated GIF sequence

hi all!
how do you export an animated gif sequence from fcp/quicktime? i've created an animation in combustion and would like to put it in an email but i can't export as an animated gif sequence! i've tried exporting as a normal gif/tiff/tga/bmp/pict sequence, but none of them have an option to save as animated.
any help?

Open it in adobe ImageReady, then "save for web" and choose .gif - hope that helps
