Well it has been a few months now when Animax has "tweaked" their schedule to include reality shows.
Afte a week of so of actively irritating DSTV reps, we have received the following reply:
A bit of fob off if you ask me.
Then it was highlighted that there are was a very similar letter sent in November.
So it seems that reality shows being repeated until my eyes bleed "has generally proven to be a big success with viewers."
As always.
DSTV offers so much more!

Hi all,
Please see Animax's feedback on some of your queries and comments:
Thanks for taking the time to provide us with feedback.
As you know, over the course of the last number of months, ANIMAX has made a number of schedule tweaks to optimize the programming schedule. While we appreciate that not all programs on ANIMAX appeal to all viewers and our intent in evolving the schedule – to offer a range of exciting reality/live action programming, in addition to animé – is to appeal to a broader South African audience. While we are sorry that you are disappointed with the changes on the channel, overall, the result of refreshing the schedule with this new programming, has generally proven to be a big success with viewers.
Our programming schedule is constantly evolving and, while we don’t have any new animé series to announce at this time, you can keep updated about our programming by logging on to www.animaxtv.co.za.

Hi
Here's a response from Animax to some of the earlier questions on this thread.
Thanks for taking the time to provide us with feedback.
As you have seen, over the last number of months, ANIMAX has made a number of tweaks to optimize the programming schedule -- offering a range of exciting reality/live action programming. While we are sorry you are not keen on these changes, the range of new programming has generally proven to be a big success with viewers.
For background, ANIMAX currently has 52 episodes of Bleach under license and, now that we have aired all of these – as of November 6 – we have refreshed the timeslot with Black Lagoon and are offering encore presentations of Bleach in an alternate timeslot.
While we currently, we have no plans to license additional episodes of the Bleach, which is currently still in production in Japan, we have passed along your feedback to our programming team for their consideration.

While we are sorry that you are disappointed with the changes on the channel, overall, the result of refreshing the schedule with this new programming, has generally proven to be a big success with viewers.
While we don’t have any plans to license Naruto, we have passed along all your feedback to our programming team for their consideration.
