Ok, fair enough. Cheap + easy to replace + easy to upgrade. This is going to take some searching of the interwebs.

Most of the Chinese ARM processors do not currently support hardware acceleration in XBMC. Amlogic is the only manufacturer that has provided enough information to allow the development of XBMC on this platform. If you are planning to use XBMC and plugins in the future then you should consider either a Pivos XIOS DS, a G-Box Midnight (Dealextreme has Zap-A10 clone) or a Geniatech ATV1200 etc. Just look at the reviews on Amazon.com and Newegg to gauge how the boxes cope with 1080p media and streaming. You should either consider an Amlogic AML8726-M3 or AML8726-M6 processor as the M1 version has a slower single core and is not really powerful enough to play back 1080p streams.
