Annoying problem with eHomeAffairs, can anyone help?

I'm trying to apply for a new passport for myself and my mother who is a senior citizen. It works okay on my end but for some reason does not accept on my mothers application, saying there is an application on the old system (screenshot attached).

Can anyone suggest a solution? It does not look like they have a workable tech support call centre.
