Anonymous Google searches with G-Zapper

Instead of buying gzapper, why not set firefox to delete all cookies when you close the program? (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: keep until I close Firefox) or simply disallow cookies from google.com???

The bit you quoted from the gzapper website seems geared towards scaring noobs...

Well because some of us browse forums and deleting the cookies means we have to sign in each time...

A decent browser [like Firefox] allows one to set exceptions for the cookies that one wants to keep when shutting down the browser.

I'm not entirely sure why everyone is so worried about this. As far as I am aware, none of the information collected by Google is personally identifiable (i.e. no real names, addresses etc.). The worst anyone could do with the information is present you with irritating pop-up ads and spam that is customised according to your interests, instead of ones that aren't.

I for one am not really worried about it, just thought I'd share it with those who are interested...

Lot's of people have gmail account's im pretty sure it would be very easy for them to link your search results to your email account been accessed from the same computer and get your information that way.
