Methinks said driver need to have a pineapple PLUS all his assorted blue light junk PLUS his fake drivers licence inserted up his rear cavity.
 
The only people who should have "convoys" are the president and deputy president.. and THOSE convoys should not be allowed to exceed the speedlimit, or endanger other road users or anything of the sort.

Good point, since when is the safety of the president/deputy and all the family members/cadres more important than anyone else?? This should be taken up with the equity court / human rights court.
 
Blue lights must only be reserved for the head of state, as the commander-in-chief... that's the case in most countries... In some countries, ministers take public transport... It won't do our ministers/MCEs/Mayors/ any harm to take the Gautrain every once in a while... No traffic there... I love my car, but the Gautrain is even better! no need for blue lights... what makes ministers think they can terrorise motorists like this? Surely with the road carnage curse in our country, you'd expect these morons to be sensitive to these things, but no, these VIP escourts have become gun-toting thugs operating with impunity... ***** the VIP escourts, f#ck the MECs, f#ck the ministers, f#ck the mayors, f#ck... f#ck... f#ck... f#ck... f#ck... f#ck
 
Blue lights should only be allowed for the head of state and deputy, and even then, if they are serious about it, just clear the road first like the USA probably does. But they would do it nicely.

This guy deserves to hung by his toenails until they fall off.
 
The problem, as we all know, is that the ANC has decided they are above the law and can do what they like. They think they are too important to use public transport. If Zuma proposed rules limiting their vehicles, drivers and use of blue lights, he would probably be sitting next to Mbeki on the pavement the next day. They are on the party train and they dont want it to stop.
