Another Budget Android question

Hi everyone.
I'm looking for some opinions/ advice. I have a MTN contract phone - Hisense H50 zoom, but my contract is up for renewal and I'm having some trouble picking the right phone. v37e
It will be a mid-range phone, can't afford the flagships, I'm looking at the Samsung A54, Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, Vivo V27e, Honor X9a. If Hisesnse were better at giving us upgrades I might have looked at the H60. but that is the main thing except for a few bugs that I haven't been able to sort out in the 2 years I've had the H50.
Is Vivo, Honor good brands? I know Honor used to belong to Hauwei, but I also know they sold it. Reviews seems a bit mixed on the X9a. I know some people love the Redmi phones, but I'm a bit leery, had one a few years ago and it blew up - not explode, but just came apart at the seams. Previous phone was a Samsung A70 and I have to say, except for me sending the screen to hell a few times it was a good phone.
Things I'm looking for in a phone - Storage. I'm not particularly bothered about sd card slots, although it definitely is a bonus.
Good camera- I love taking photos and a good camera is pretty important for me.
Good Battery - H50 has a 5000mah and I can barely get it to last me a day, I live on my phone. Fast charging is off course a bonus.
Performance
Support - My biggest beef with Hisense is I'm stuck on Android 10 with no update in sight.
Any other phone/ Brands I should look at? Oppo?
Budget is +- R500 a month
Oh and no thank you to Iphone, not interested.

But the A54 is a solid choice. Amoled high refresh screen, 256gb storage and 4 or 5 android version updates guaranteed. Also spares are easy to find although that might not be a factor if you upgrade at the end of every contract.

Was looking at "upgrading" to the A54 but vodacom upgrades online = broken so I bought a new battery for my P30 pro. Otherwise not a bad phone at all.
