Another Eskom load shedding warning

“Our engineers are busy investigating the cause of the breakdown.” - Hint: Those engineers got UNISA degrees. Any engineer worth their salt would have been able to anticipate this! :(

I strongly object to this statement....I am using Unisa.
 
Word on the ground is that the distibution plant is also on iets last legs due to lack of maintainence. When it starts falling down the powerstations can take a rest.:D

Which specific "distribution" plant are you talking about?

Overhead lines, dist. boxes and cables, transformers etc. No spesifics were mentioned and I did not ask. I was in the company of old hands in the trade when the subject came up.
 
That would be the distribution network... not plant.

And yes, parts of it are close to collapse, but not all of it.
