Another farmer murdered

After dedication of hours of time and in-depth analysing of your personal position, willful ignorance and total ignorance of my passionate dedication which you sought, and then punting of falsisms from the mouths of salesmen and others not in the know, is enough to stir the pot (and any sane man clued up in anything giving advice, I would say). I apologise if I over reacted, but if I'm honest it's more a misunderstanding (of both myself and TVs) on your part. I would be quite happy to go back and analyse your TV thread once again, and back up all my actions from them with facts, which will paint an understood picture rather than a misudnerstood one.
English please. :D

Most South Africans understand the issues. We understand there is inequality, we understand people were previously disadvantaged, we understand many still are disadvantaged. Most South Africans can only assist in change by doing what little they can to promote racial tollerance and understanding.

The problem is the people who are in the best position to bring in true change honestly dont care, that is big business and the government. I am inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, I never directly benefitted from
(whites) benefited from for centuries
, I was never given property, money, handouts or jobs. Everything I have today I worked my butt off to get, I didnt have the same opportunity's that other "white" people apparently had.

How would you suggest that I change the vast problems the country faces considering I do not have the supposed resources that every white should have. I am not a politician, I am not in big business, I am a family man and nothing more.

What you fail to see is that we are on a collision course and it will indeed be doom and gloom for those of us who get caught in the crossfire between the poor people of South Africa, Government and Business. Every South African I know wants things to be equal for all people, we want people to have houses, we want them to have water, electricity etc.

So please come out of your Zen garden and tell me just what you and me can do to change things. Tell me how you are going to avoid the collison that is coming, I would love to know since I have no where to go except home (South Africa).

1. Lessen doom & glooming, take emotion out of issues constantly driven into us along racial lines by many faculties that seek to exploit creating fringes and divisions.
2. Don't hate, stand up against displays of bigotry, discrimination and racism in your personal life.
3. Smile, greet, thank, especially those interacting and servicing you. Be the first to show respect. Chat. Involve.
4. Consider including a taxi fare over and above your tip for "obvious" reasons, perhaps while you drive there.

These are very easy ways to help in a small way without getting too involved where it will likely be deemed as going too far out ones way, such as to the point of helping in more direct ways like my friend in their twenties teaching Life Orientation in Cape Town townships, or my other friend in their 40s teaching English pronounciation workshops in the Eastern Cape. Remember, these seekers of knowledge are only too eager to embrace my white friends.

So tell me when was the last time you were at a braai at a friends house in Gugulethu, Delft, Elsies river, Montana or any other "dangerous" area in Cape Town? I could tell you why you are wasting your breath on me, but I dont expose my personal life on the interwebz.

I do everything you said above in your numbered points and much more. The only difference is I know what is coming, history does repeat itself and while the Government doesnt help the poor people enough we are going to end up repeating history. I do what I can to personally change what other color people think of us "whites", but honestly I dont think it will ever be enough.

For every person I effect in a good way through months and years of friendship, caring etc there are people like Malema who poison hundreds if not thousands of minds at a time. That is my point, it is like trying to hold back the sea with a paper cup while someone is setting off depth charges just in front of you.

I can honestly only hope that you are correct and what we are doing will change the tide. I really do hope so.

Not sure what this means, but I matriculated in 2005 if that helps.

You don't know what's coming, "History repeats itself" is a very old and boring phrase in these modern, exciting times where more balance is being achieved as the wounds slowly heal. It's your choice to be half empty about the prospect of SA's prosporous future, if you're looking for writing you will find it, especially on the internet.

And you speak on behalf of the black population of SA, my <expletives removed>, thank you for making that list, a list that everyone you tar with the racist brush here probably does and then some, every day and you actually think that is something special and makes you better than them.

Your parents were the kind that told you every day that you were special and a winner right, no matter how well you did, for <more expletives removed> sake.

Now I know to read what you write in the right light, that of a spoilt liberal with an education and indoctrination from the anc and nothing more.

Don't worry people, if this is what liberals in SA has turned into, the doom and gloom won't happen, they are too spineless and weak minded nowadays to drive the anc forward towards their ultimate goal and we all know the anc needs a push to do anything but steal and use their little spears.

No need to quote my entire post if it's the last sentence you took issue with.

I am not speaking on the behalf of everyone, I'm telling you first hand accounts of people who are getting off their asses and actually going to townships to try help people become more employable, people who are deemed savage and barbaric ANC voters that want to strike and break everything, the reason for all of SA's problems, etc.

As well as my own accounts as a young South African who went to one of the top 5 "best" junior schools in SA (99% white, 0.9% coloured and 0.1% black pupils, 100% white administration/teachers, won't mention groundsmen and kitchen ladies) which did nothing to teach understanding of the imbalances in South Africa. Then went to a rather privileged (privilege is relative) semi-private multi-racial high school, and went to rugby matches with black and coloured school friends and their moms and dads in modern cars.

Quite a difference.

Your parents were the kind that told you every day that you were special and a winner right, no matter how well you did, for <more expletives removed> sake.

The words I remember most were "Put yourself in others' shoes".

Now I know to read what you write in the right light, that of a spoilt liberal with an education and indoctrination from the anc and nothing more.

Other words I remember were "Every day in every way it's getting better and better" (Beatles).

The problem is that Apartheid Liberals never envisioned economic freedom, only political freedom.

Highlighting the anc failures and holding them accountable is the only way to get them to do the right thing, they don't know better.

History is that subject liberals and fools skip because it doesn't fit their fantasy of what Africa is, seeing human beings with all their human failings as better than everyone else and as noble savages makes you more of a racist than the people accused of such, those that sees South-Africa heading the wrong way and tries in a vain attempt at sanity to steer it right again by speaking out against the bad unacceptable things like the anc, without sentiment and an agenda.

It's liberals and apologists, that always find a way to defend the indefensible because of sentiment, emotion and some sort of misplaces guilt, that is helping this country turn into just another failed state.
If the people in the anc (and by all indications it is every last one of them) lead government that is corrupt, racist, lazy and criminal are not stopped, there won't be anything left to defend by these fools and you know what the communist heroes of the anc does to the liberals after they get what they want right, they are put against a wall and shot first because they know that a weak mind can be turned easily.

This farm murder is just another indication of the failure of the anc to protect the citizens of our country, they are a failure in every sphere and no amount of taxi fair and smiles are going to stop the anc inspired, hate fueled riots once they start, the townships look like the late 70/80s already and this time there is no easy apartheid excuse.

Assuming you're against everything that apologists and liberals stand for what exactly have you done to assist in rectifying the situation?

I employ people from all walks of life, I teach and train them, treat them like human beings, do all of Postmanpots miserable little list, I pay for housing, transport and education for their kids, provide them with legal assistance and advice, provide communications, healthcare and I feed them and then on top of that, I pay taxes to a corrupt lot of thieves that should do all that in the first place.

Just a side note, I helped out at a refuge where people are hiding due to so called "xenophobic", no RACIST anc attacks, it's not in the past at all and guess what, everyone there volunteering their time and money is white, one of the black anc elite lives across the road and all he did was to call the police to try and get the place closed down in fear of his property value dropping.

I know liberals and I know conservatives and the only ones I can't stand is the apologists, frankly give me the worst so called racist that gives his time or hard earned money to help an anonymous stranger, before you give me a liberal that gives taxi fare and a smile just to a black man, yet calls other people racist for highlighting truths.
EVERYONE in SA is equal and anyone can be in need under the corrupt pieces of excrement in the anc and seeing only the poor black man is as racist as not seeing him during apartheid.

Excusing the anc bastards looting and neglecting the country is worse than anything the nat supporters ever did, because you should know better, or did you skip history class too?
