Another I hate partserve thread !

So after 3 weeks i got my all in one lenovo desktop back from repairs.

HDD was failing ,so I booked it in.

I boot it up today ,the idiots went and loaded windows 7 starter 32bit on it!!! This is i5 4th gen with 4gb ram.

It has a windows 8 pro licence on it ,which they told me they will reload and activate for me.

Just really piss me off how useless these clowns are!!

Lol, I think lots of people check if a brand is serviced by partserve before making a purchase decision

I don't like them either. It took them 3 days to say hey, your laptop is dead on arrival and you should get a replacement from wootware.

Only experience I've had is with the PS3 where they don't repair they charge you R1800 and give you a refurb I told them the blu ray drive just needs to be fixed, didn't care

Waited 6 months+ for a refund on a printer they sent that was plundered for spares. They couldn't source a replacement.

The next purchase i made recently was 3 acer monitors.

Two 19" monitors, the one has a green picture, the other constantly flickers.
One 24", half the foot stand is missing and the top half of the display is much dimmer than the bottom.

I'll go back to visiting cash crusaders for 2nd 19" lg led's or buy from universe direct. Their also in milnerton.

Absolutely do not support partserve unless you absolutely have to.
