Another positive Telkom story

I applied for an analogue line a while ago and they scheduled it for the 18 th. I was not all that optimistic, but at around 8 am this morning a knock on our door from the Telkom technician. He was very friendly, competent and even fixed up some other small issues with our existing ADSL line.

Hats off to the Telkom staff on this one!

At the end of 1997, the average time it took to install a home phone line was 37 days. How long did it take you rpm?

Its actually so sad its pathetic. I now KNOW the techies sit in the exchange which is virtually visible from where I am now and they wont even enable my line for DSL. This is really BS.
