Another racist attack in Pretoria

A Pretoria man has been arrested on a charge of assault and attempted murder after pepper spraying a group of men in another alleged racist attack in the capital.

The man allegedly pepper-sprayed the men in the suburb of Villieria and his daughter then allegedly sprayed them with a fire extinguisher on Thursday.

The four men struggled to breathe and were covered with white powder.

This is the second alleged racist attack in Pretoria in two weeks after residents of Hercules attacked a group of people that the Metro council was moving into their neighbourhood.

One of the men attacked says this is not an isolated incident.

Just one side of the story. I find it difficult to believe that a man would risk his daughter getting hurt, by attacking a group that outnumber him, without some form of provocation.
 
How was it determined that this attack was race related, just out of interest?

White people in a predominantly white neighbourhood doing anything to black people is of course racist.

I'm actually curious about the details here. Villieria is a small residential area. Where were these guys being moved to?

Agreed, however, when a white man assaults a black man, it is a race attack. When a black man assaults a white man, it is just crime? How can you not notice the double standard here?

Oh I know, there's just no serious media coverage of racist attacks on whites.

--Black guy tortures white family, blaming whites for what he does. Kills parents, rapes children, leave them to rot. Short piece in the news, at best... you can't cover all these types of attacks. Attack isn't called "racist" despite all the evidence saying otherwise.

--White guy pepper sprays black guy - everyone loses their minds. We have people going crazy over the White privilege and racism still present in this country.
