Rain's network performance leaves much to be desired!
At the beginning of lockdown, my issues were blamed on congestion due to people working from home etc.
With the easing of lockdown restrictions - nothing has improved. And instead of trying to fix their network, what do they do - offer unlimited 4G for phones to further congest the network (that R379 POS). So sick of it. I will be cancelling my sim card today.

I totally feel you. Although I feel like I wanna put my router and there pathetic service through the wall I don’t have much choise. It’s a clear day today. Hopefully Rain can start fixing the tower without rain interfering lol.

Lol not sure how you can blame that. It's a mobile product meant for when you're out and about travelling and connecting to different towers.
 
4G 5G all Rain stuff is kuk. Luckily they busy with fiber in our area, 1-2 months hopefully and Rain will never see a cent of my money again

Different towers that may already be under strain and this causing more issues for the existing clients.
E.g. Any additional users, mobile or not, on the tower in my area will add to the already shitty experience.

If I am missing the point, please by all means enlighten me.
 
I've been having really good speeds from rain for a long time, 2 weeks ago it crawl to a sudden halt. Now I can't get over 4mbps, sometimes not even that. I went from using anything from 7 to 9 gigs a day to max 3, 4 on a good day.

Im really hoping telkom has some or other black Friday data deal this year, I don't even care if it's on contract, I'll take it.

Telkom lte speeds are running at 6 to 7mbps on a bad day here, most of the time it's running in the high 20's, sometimes even higher.
 
I got another one......each time another person creates a thread here, I'm like take the stick, poke the support guy - "Say the words"
