Saeed Ajmal, the Pakistan offspinner, has been reported for a suspect bowling action. Asad Rauf and Asoka de Silva, the umpires for the second ODI between Pakistan and Australia in Dubai on Friday, said they had concerns over Ajmal's action and hence requested the ICC to review his action.

absolute BS from the aussies, i picked this up a few years ago when malinga was reported but not tait, seems the umpires are common factors too

lets not forget, Malcolm marshal vs Australia long ago for managing to reverse swing the ball XD after he got a 5 wicket haul on a pitch prepared for spinners.
Lets not forget the Waquar younus incident,
The Australian underarm incident with Greg Chapel.
yup ausies all over the place :>

Well for me they need to make the laws more relaxed hey, Malinga for me though has a dodgy action of note. Never seen an action like that before haha.

We have this discussion every time killa. :)

Malinga has got a weird sidearm action that makes me laugh every time I see it, still. But his arm is straight the whole way through his action - and it is the bending / straightening of the arm that is the problem for the bowlers that are reported.

its innovative, the Bradman baseball grip was criticized as well by the British in the early 1930's, as was the body-line technique from Douglass Jardine criticized by the Australians. Every time someone comes out with new innovation in the game it gets criticized heavily especially by the old idiots who think they know everything.

it's difficult not to believe he is not chucking

Cant the damn Ozzie's give it a rest. Was Saeed Ajma playing particularly well just like Botha? Haven't been keeping up with that series.

He took two wickets at a very economical rate.

Afridi took six wickets in that game. The Aussies are obviously aware of Afridi's anger management issues, so must've chosen to pick on the newer guy.
