I did. The gov spokesperson sounds like she's partially speculating in her quote and said highly unlikely due to meetings still needed, not a definite no.

Doubt it too, but who knows in this country.

Huh? That was last week they were referring to.

Anyway, here's a quote I typed out;

She told News24 that there could be no adjustment of the lockdown on Monday as the right processes hadn't been followed. She added that, unless there was a dramatic change in the situation, it was highly unlikely that there would be any address by Ramaphosa on the situation at all this week.

So certainly not a worse lockdown announcement planned, but nothing else appears definite, like they don't know directly either...

We heard something about something tonight on the radio around lunchtime. Always possible that this was due to fear-mongering that they picked up on. Never can tell though. That said, I am not making any effort to try to find out.

I don't think even the ANC are dumb enough to put us in an even harder lockdown again. Even they must know we are *this* close to going in to full economic meltdown if we get whacked with level 4/5 again.
