Another Wasted day on useless Afrihost

After move to MTN, this is just getting sick now. After 6 weeks of useless service I'm ready to move. Today's message is :

We are currently experiencing increased latency and decreased throughput on our ADSL network.

The problem is being attended to with the highest priority.
Unfortunately we don’t have an ETA at this moment but we will keep our status page updated.

Bladi***kenBla. Can't game, cant even run a speedtest. Just have to wait indefinitely for these grubs to fix their **** which will be broken again tomorrow. Waiting for Gian to pitch up and give some useless halfassed excuse about his rubbish product.
 
Agree!

My 50gig capped account today was totally useless!

Could also not run speedtests, teamspeak was stuttering the whole time. Online gaming performance on Eve Online was totally crap with disconnects!

Not a good experience overall!!

Please fix this Afrihost!!

Currently on my free FNB Connect but limited to my 3gig, but performance is a lot better!

I have also just switched to FNBConnect free account and am flying this is from a 50gig account!
 
Agree!!! x100 Afrihost sucks after moving to MTN."Medium Impact" my ass! Huge impact on my non productive day. Time to move, suggestions?

Actually when I reported this issue to them at 14.15 there was an issue for an hour before this but no mention of a problem on their website. They only noticed the issue 10 minutes after I asked them if there was a problem and asked why their website did not reflect this issue. I fear their engineers are not monitoring the system properly as they should have detected this problem an hour earlier. ??

Now 21:20 and if anything, has got worse as the day progressed ... I initially thought it was just month-end-download-madness coupled with banking, but clearly not .... downloads keep failing which is excessively annoying (and a waste of bandwidth).
 
I have to agree. I am fed up with them. They have not been even acknowledging the issue of degredation of service over the past week. I am really dissapointed.
 
Capped and Business uncapped totally useless at the moment...i have had to switch ALL my clients over to webafrica just so they can browse...fing pain :mad: I have basically spent the whole day dealing with this rubbish. Needless to say tomorrow is going to be a nightmare with all the phone calls. I really think it is time to call it quits...i have better things to do with my life other than changing usernames on 50+ routers as well as SMTP settings...praise the lord I could do it remotely. So tomorrow is another day spent going to each client, explaining the situation, recommending solutions, helping them choose a new provider, helping with the signup...YOU GUYS ARE SCREWING WITH MY FISHING TIME AND THAT MAKES ME MAD :twisted:
