I had 900mb over on my data bundle when I checked my balance 2 days ago. According to my Nexus 5 I have only used 500mb this whole month. Low and behold tonight I check my airtime and my data is 0 and my airtime is -R400.

Vodacom has ALWAYS sent me a SMS when my data is low and also when it is done. Not this time. I know there is nothing you can do but it makes me so f******* angry! I never thought the OOB Shark would get me. There is a special kind of hell for the person responsible.

This is one of the reasons I don't want a contract with any cell phone company.

-R400 means that you are going to be credited by Vodamom with R400 soon. Not that you are owing something. Correct me if I am wrong.

I mean my my Airtime was -R400 after the data bundle expired. I'm on Top Up. It was not on a statement, just balance enquiry.

been there. they will tell you to get an app....lol that BS does not work. I asked them to send a mail when the megs run low. never did. they are crap.

Yep the app only shows the normal data bundle, not the Promo Bundles

Why people are still using the cartel (Vodacon + MTN) is beyond me...

agree with you.
if they do not care and steal your money with their OBB shark then you need to get out asap.
I had 4 sims with vodascum and I am so happy to have left them.
I had very little problem with the network. data speeds was ok as well. but if you cannot even tell me how much data did I use and you do not want to fix the problem then that tells me you are useless. then you get the people that will tell me it is our fault.
I am very happy with Telkom mobile for data and cellc for phone. speeds are great and with Telkom I know what I have used with no shark in sight.

Back when I had a BlackBerry vodacom cust care used to tell me to do a battery pull for every issue I had. I onced suffered from dropped calls and they told me to do a battery pull. I could swear I could call and say the world is ending and they would've told me to do a battery pull and I can restart a dead planet.
