Sadly, this amp does not fit into my AV stand without major modifications due to the depth & also the weight (28kg!), and even then there is barely enough space for it to fit.

It is brand new, I basically opened the box, did some measurements, and realised that it would not fit into my stand. It hasn't even been switched on or connected to anything.

All original packaging included.

Some people cannot appreciate the finer things in life. Why insult someone who does? I would buy that, but I am into stereo on that level, not 5ch amplification. It is not a hobby for the poor or tone deaf people. You'll need another R350 to R500k for speakers in that league. I wish the OP success with the sale!
 
Finally done!

We modified the AV stand with 15 wheels at the bottom, so the weight is evenly distributed and it is much easier to move it to access the back.

All AV appliances are now on an Isotek power conditioner, with Isotek power cables.

The front and centre speakers are now connected with Tellurium Q Blue II cables ended with banana plugs.

That 525 really punches, I've had to dial down the bass because the low end is so, well, punchy.

It surprisingly runs quite cool.

I fell in love with B&W way back when. Will take a lot to get me to switch. Hell, it'll take a lot to get me to change my 603 s3 speakers as it stands. If I have an opportunity I will give them a listen though. Always nice exploring different sound profiles.

Jah, look, those 603s are excellent.

I've also heard the 803 and the Nautilus, they need super beefy amps to drive them.

I have a pair of PSB Alpha iQ powered speakers in our holiday flat, punches well above its weight.

I bought a set of Teufel speakers a while ago, and the guy had upgraded to the 804's. Whilst I enjoyed those teufels speakers, I wish I didn't stop to listen to his 804 :(

How did you come across PSB intially? I've been spending way too much time in forums and reddit, and I haven't seen those a ton.

I used the services of a local AV custom installer to do the ethernet wiring when we renovated our house in 2012.

He then demo'ed the T2s to me. I really like what I heard, so I bought them.

They sounded good with my AVRs, but when driven by this 525, they really open up.

So what you're saying is I need to add a dedicated amp into my setup. At least that's what I'm hearing. :) :)

Haha, I always thought that the AVRs I had were good enough: NAD T757, Arcam AVR380, Cambridge Audio CXR200, NAD T778), but when the latter started popping amp modules like a 16 year old with bad acne, I decided to invest in a power amp. The difference was stunning, I am now firmly in the camp that power amps trounce AVRs.
