.... for a very painful lower back muscle. Ouch :D

Which brands are best? Voltaren seems not to work, which is surprising.

Voltarin (oops - u tried that)
or
Arnica Oil

Arnica oil is safe for pregnant women - which, after spraining the back, you may be. :D

I found those funny bean bags you put in the microwave to work awesome.

When I first started Judo, my body gave me the middle finger all the time.

I took a myprodol (spelling?), Deep Heat, and the bean bag thing and BAM !!!! all better the next day...

How'd you hurt your back?

Edit: forget the q.

I had a bad case of the flu and slept the entire Sunday. Probably lying in the wrong position.

Sorry to disappoint you, mercurial.
Lol. Just be careful not to be allergic to weird stuff. I heard of someone who took one of those anti-inflammatories and died. Person had an allergic reaction to it. Probably a good idea to see a GP first.

I was looking for the name of a particular brand but looks like most folks prefer natural remedies.

Nothing internal.
The wife has regular hassles with back - Arnica Oil does work.
But, dont listen to me - I am just a hubby.

Get the man to give a back rub !!!!!

Nothing better than that in this scenario...

Ibuprofen works like a charm. I get knocked out in probably 5min.

Beans are awesome. A good pillow and mattress is essential.

Since you pulled your muscles while lying down (), try walk slowly, until you find that you can play a game of squash...

Man out of town.

Woman must find own remedy.

Woman posts to MBB to find suggestions for MEDICINAL remedies.

I used a product a year or two ago and I am trying to see if some kind poster won't mention the product to refresh my memory :)

Oh geez !!!

There was this green and white tube, that I once used.

It was VERY good.

Dad also used it for when he had a back op.

The name will come to me...

Will let you know.

:)

I tried some tablets on the advice of my brother. Although i was abit skeptical, they seem to really work. Used for my back and my knee so far.

I buy them from my chemist and you do not need a script. The name is Gen-Payne.
