Anti-Islam video website defends decision

Maybe there should be a comma after "Anti Islam video"?
 
I can't believe that in this day and age allowing someone to excercise their right to freedom of speech is considered controversial.

Terrorists associating religion (and citing it for their actions) should really learn to read. Religion usually talks about peace and respect towards others... even has rules against killing and stealing...

Whatever they're smoking must be the ****! ;)

Wrong! You telling me to shadup, and me not obeying you has nothing to do with freedom of speech. You can tell me what you like, whether I choice to do anything about, does impact on freedom of speech, either yours or mine.
 
Freedom of speech is one thing, but provoking another religion by publishing lies about their religious Book is another thing. There should be a limit to everything, that goes to the terrorist who fight in the name of God as well, and ignorance comes into play here as well.

The creators of the movie remember what happen after the Danish offensive cartoons, so it is obvious that they don't recognise peace. Most protesters were irrational and wild, but the Danish shouldn't offend anyone as well. Freedom of speech is a right, but offending a group of people is against the law. Or am I wrong?

These websites are foolish for taking this video of their sites, if people have a problem with the video then give them a serious platform to put their concerns across, don't take a video down because of a few threats that are probably from pranksters.

No, that is much different from people hating other peoples skin colour, religion or ideology is a choice in life, and the followers and are subject to criticism.

There was no direct intension of offending people, he criticized an ideology, and if that did offend people, then that is an unfortunate but unavoidable consequence, that he could not be held responsible for.

In anyway, these people support this ideology, if they understand it or twist it to look or act good, and are if not completely, then at least somewhat responsible, and may be due this.

The creators of the movie, were concerned, Wilders, did say,

or even, "Movie critical of Apartheid, roundly accused of offending Afrikaners"??? - in those cases people would be laughing at the news papers.

Wow you even quoted and everything. According to what I heard in BBC, the movie accuses Islam of obligating its followers to kill the non-followers, which is a misinterpretation of the Qur'an. You cannot compare a movie on Nazis to this. Nazis killed whoever wasn't tall and blond,etc. Muslims do not kill people, terrorists do. If this movie was about terrorists, I would agree with that, but instead, according to what I heard on the news, the movie states that God told muslims to kill the ones who aren't muslim, which again I say, it's a misinterpretation of the Book. Better, it isn't misinterpretation, is not reading it at all. You cannot read a line and say you understood everything. If you don't read the whole Chapter in this case, you will not understand, and that is what the creators of this movie did.

It appears that you compare Islam to Nazism and Apartheid. Nazis and Apartheid followers publicly stated that they were against a certain type of people, and even killed them. Islam doesn't do that, terrorists do, because they interpreted the Holy Book the same way creators of this movie did.
