Any 3G coverage outside Jhb ?

Hi.

So, in my travels, I've now ended up "trying" to get MTN 3G service in Cape Town. So far, no coverage in Tokai, Constantia, Plumstead, Newlands or Claremont.

Do MTN actually have a 3G network (and by network I mean somewhere other than Jhb) ?

Except for the Cape Town CBD (which I've managed to avoid since the launch of 3G, so cannot comment on the coverage there), I've only found 3 other locations where one can get a 3G signal:

Canal Walk
Airport
On the driveway at home (I think its picking up the airport - have got LOS - only 1 bar, but it works)

So to answer your question - yes they do. But I wouldn't call it a "network" - its really more like "hotspots" in a few pointless locations.

(Anyone else found a spot or 2?)
