Any alternatives to Sybaritic?

Hi,

I usually order hardware spares from Sybaritic, but lately they been quite slow with the processing of orders.

Any recommendations?
 
There are quite a few good online shops and you'll find dozens of threads telling you who are decent :)

To name a few: Titan Ice, Wootware, Evetech, Rebeltech (not sure if their service levels were restored the last month again?).

I'm not sure what happened to Prophecy Shop though - because I'm not buying there any more due to their prices being slightly higher than RebelTech and Wootware.
 
I'd recommend WootWare. Excellent service. Last order was placed and paid on Friday - midday. Received my parcel Monday morning :)

They will also match or better prices.

Only good thing about Sybaritic is they accept credit cards.
 
Rebeltech or Wootware. Rebeltech can take a while to process orders but, they are the cheapest. Wootware have great service.

Prophecy website is outdated and really not user-friendly, products not updated regularly etc. Until they get a facelift, I wouldn't bother with them personally.

Takealot have most at a decent price, as do Sybaritic though somewhat more expensive.
 
Prophecy also not on the list, general service suxs and limited shipping options, and the courier the use offloads to a shyte 3rd party....takealot isn't bad at all free shipping on orders above R350.00 plenty payment options, reasonable prices some even a wee bit cheaper, selection isn't that great, never had any problems with them the, warranty exchange system is top notch, and email support also great never had to phone them, due to lack of not responding to emails.
 
I noticed a new website called cyber gecko. anyone used them before? Looks like they are based in ct

Prices look ok

- Takealot.com
- Kalahari.com

I don't buy that much computer hardware though.

Takealots delivery speed is damn impressive. If they have stock, it's next day!

I use Takealot. Must say I am impressed with them. Ordered a hard drive from them...the hard drive arrived the following day, after payment cleared.
 
1. Takealot: I'm in Cape Town and if I order the morning I can expect delivery the same afternoon!
2. Wootware: Just great service all round
3. Rebeltech: Great prices compared to most if not all just delivery slightly longer than others
4. Titan-ice: Not a single hiccup yet and good service

Cant judge the other online stores cos i haven't dealt with them yet:p
 
I would not recommend anyone to use Sybaritic. Don't know what is up at that company. I have been waiting 3 weeks on an order after they confirmed availability of components on the first day, and I paid two days after. They don't return calls or emails, they don't suggest alternative products. All round the worst service I have ever had. When I phone they are expecting delivery of the items 'any moment now'. It's not like its cutting edge tech, it's a mouse and a msata ssd???
 
Who still uses that load of horse****? See #14 for better options :D

They didn't list the items I wanted, or their prices were higher. Anyway I used them before with variable degrees of success. But this is the last time. Three weeks and counting.
 
For me it's Takealot. I plan my purchases to take advantage of the free delivery. Pricing is not too bad. I also buy at Wootware and Rebeltech. Had a hiccup with my last Rebeltech order but it was eventually fixed after some emailing and a phone call.
