Sign up with GoogleI'm looking for a bit of help in designing a QoS policy to prioritize voice (DSCP 46) over video (DSCP 34) over SIP signalling (DSCP 26) within a local LAN - policy has to guarantee bandwidth on access & trunk ports, etc.
Phones and PABX are on their own VLAN, camera's & NVR are on their own VLAN. Workstations and servers are on the default VLAN 1.
I've got the VLAN config down and the network policy/LLDP running and am trusting the DSCP values on ingress, I'm just coming up short with the bandwidth guarantees and the whole DSCP to CoS mapping to ensure voice gets top priority and video doesn't drop frames if someone decides to shuffle their movie collection over the network.
Happy to contribute a bit of $$$ to any guru that can assist!
EDIT: Using a pair of 3560G switches if that helps
