Any comments on Nikon D7000?

I am thinking of buying one - has anyone used one yet? How does it compare to D300?

Beautiful camera. Have played with it @ Orms. I own it's predecessor... Will probably take it over the D300s, but D400 is coming soon (I hope).

I guess Canon best start working on the 7D MKII

Yes... That is a silly comparison. This is how it should be:

D3100 -> 1100D
D5100 -> 600D
D7000 -> 60D
D300 -> 7D (D400 coming?)
D700 -> 5D II (D800 coming?)
D3s -> 1D IV
D3x -> 1Ds III

Also - I wanted the alloy body, weight and 8fps. I was just amazed at how good it is ...

But that makes it even better - as it compares with a lower Canon yet outdoing the better Canon?

I did a comparison of the Canon 1D MKIII vs Nikon D5100 and IQ/dynamic range was in favour of the 5100 :/

That site does appear to be biased towards Nikon.

You have to ask yourself how do they actually measure IQ?
[Wechsler? Stanford-Binet? SAT? ]

You're right, I thought the left column was the Canon throughout the comparison.
