The above is working fine currently unlike other weekends where we can congestion on the network due to free weekend Cell C calls. If you get any connection or network problems please give me let me soonest.

Working fine in Somerset West, Western Cape. Actually better than fine - it's quite fast for this time of day.

Yesterday from 13h00 to midnight it was slower sometimes with about 4 disconnections.
Seems to be OK now. (Sunday)

From 20h30 to 21h00 no gprs service. From then on up to now it's very slow, and sometimes stops completely.

Mine is running fine currently in JHB. CellBel, is your conncetion speeds too slow or you get constant disconnections? Boodles, i downloaded the file for about 2mins on EDGE. You must be in a GPRS cell. Pls PM me your details and i will give you a call about this.

We'll I decided to pop in my VM sim this afternoon and the speed was terrible. It was like not been connected to any service at all. Couldn't get pages to load from about 14H50. Tried everything. Even tried phoning "the sort me out" number but after holding on for 10min and then 7min I gave up. (What kind of customer service is this ?)

The CellId on my phone shows as : 11204 (2BC4)

BTW this post was done on another network.

VM GPRS was a pathetic mess the whole day. It took me ½ an hour to download my email, (1 message) and webpages won't open most of the time. If it stays like this i'll have to use MTN tomorrow, or longer, till these ppl can get their act together again.

VM GPRS has been getting on my nerves for the past 2 weeks. The main reason i ported to virgin was for GPRS and alot of my friends also switched for GPRS. Virgin better get there act together otherwise they are going to loose alot of customers.

C'mon man. Between 6.30 and 8 tonight zippo. Not sure about prior or after those times, but couldnt do jack.

Really getting my blood pressure going.

Ndlovu d - u got PM.

I'd like to add my 2 cents here.

:Ndlovu=Please actually check the service yourself before making pronouncements about working/not working. And I mean check with modem and PC not just using you cellphone and WAP!!

Virgin does NOT work at all for me. It hasn't worked all day. Your operators haven't a clue either. The supervisors were out drinking tea and were not available.
They took over 20 mins to answer the phone.
I could hardly hear what they were saying. On your service, G sounds like E, C and D. They haven't a clue about phonetics "A for Alpha", "B for Bravo" etc.. Please train them either to speak properly or spell the words.

All I can say is you don't have a service to speak of. It hasn't functioned the WHOLE week for the whole time I have been a member.

The Virgin Mobile operation is a complete mess that can only be retrieved by shutting down and starting again IMHO.!!

Web page starts loading, then their is a rest period half way through. then it decides to finish loading web page.

....boodles troddles off to get his blood pressure taken.

... and they continue to grab your credit with all the attempts to load a page and reload reload reload ...

i don't even waste my time anymore, check my sig, gonna change, have no idea to what. do a bit of surfing @ work. check mail from my k-jam

This morning much better. Will see this afternoon. Just d/l 69.5Mb in 58min25sec. Maybe I'm the only person on VM today.
