Any idea how long the circuit will take?

Just recently got my line unbundled from Cybersmart. Today the Telkom lady phoned me to enquire about my order to re-instate the circuit from Telkom at a higher speed.

Any gueestimates to how long this will take?

String... ok well we can't answer that one of course.
How long is a piece of copper wire? Well we can answer that question if we add another variable: The location of the copper wire. If the location of the copper wire is South Africa, then chances are the copper wire will be about 10cm, dangling from a telkom pole... the rest of it (which was cut off) lying on the floor outside some lazy thug's shack ready to have the plastic coating around it burnt so he can illegally obtain his R20 at the expense and destruction of the rest of the civilized country who actually have work ethic.
 
Are there any serious answers here? Two weeks? Seems a bit long considering my line and everything is already in.

After that whole mission, I doubt the thug is lazy :D

Haha! Ironic though, isn't it? "Eish I'm not going to go work, I just want to smoke tik - but I need money to buy first. Let me go steal some copper!" (let me go destroy the only parts of the country that give it any real value) -- meanwhile, all that effort and risk involved in stealing copper (as opposed to the tiny profit they get in return) is completely not worth it. So not only is it illegal, destructive, but it also takes a lot of risk and work (it's not worth it) - energy that could be spent constructively: building the economy by working a productive job: and on the other end of that, Telkom won't be hurt by theft, nor will their customers have no service. So Telkom would have more capital to expand and introduce more services.
But of course this is Africa, where poverty/lack of education means things get done inefficiently and therefore it takes 10 times longer for us to see the same benefits that happen in more developed countries, and at 10 times the cost if we decide we want them.
