Any idea on when DStv will release the Android app for the drifta

I see the forums is quiet. No mention on the release date. Would love to have the sports on my android tablet. Then it is goodbye DSTV! :)
 
I've also waiting for the Android app to be released...

*sarcasm* It might be quicker to wait for my current cell contract to expire, then get an iPhone on your renewal contract... :P

They said (when I activated mine) it should be released in April... Lets hope for the best.
I don't know why they don't cater for the biggest mobile OS first, then the rest? R&D department FAIL!

UPDATE:
As per DSTV forum, the release date has been delayed (SHOCKER!). Still waiting on release date, they don't know themselves.

yeah they said that there will be downtime from 5am - 11am......somehow i can still use the service.....although i cant find the new channels

Edit: just checked now and the new channels are working!

Multichoice are useless! They promised us "support for Android and Blackberry devices" by April 2011 and we're sitting in May with f'all! But then we just have to sit back and take the brunt of their subscription increases.
