I just installed Linux mint kde, I would also like programs that will make the UI more fancy looking. I've already got wobbly windows :D

Wobbly windows made me lol :D search for best mint mods, there is a ton of **** you can do to it to make it fancier, it's all about taste at the end of the day..... not sure if it's still here but there was a linux desktop thread for a while where the guys posted screenshots and listings of all they modded. Maybe search for that.

Try Conky. It can load up some fancy info graphics on your desktop:

My Canon scanner and colour printer only work in Linux. Canon never released 64-bit Windows drivers for them.
That's why you run 32-bit windows xp in a virtualbox. Canon haven't released linux drivers for my scanner nor my printer...

Which models do you have? Every Canon printer and scanner I've tried have just worked 'out of the box' in Ubuntu.

My Canon scanner has 64 bit drivers for Windows. What model do you have?

Hahaha :D no thanks, been there. It's too limited in terms of customisation and very much resembles Windows (which I also use).

I like minimalistic, metro look and feel and cinnamon is closer to that unless I've been missing it in kde. I'm going to remove my mint installation for something better... Arch Linux :D
