So i've had a damaged cable on my Fiber optic line due to the Gross negligence of the installers in the first place
they installed it in front of a moving gate and thus the cable inevitably got squished
Now Afrihost & Metro fiber are blaming me and making me pay the bill of 2300,00 ZAR in order to replace the Cable
Which is 100% unfair and unwarranted when their installers state that it will not be an issue having the cables in their position
Further more i had a techie pop in on a Sunday morning and he also stated that this is not my fault but the fault of the installers
Could someone please let me know what i can do about this as this is unjust
Their argument is that i should have watched the contractor
and that its my problem therefore
My argument back is
HOW MUST I KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING
surly their people are trained professionals?
or am i living in a dream world
