Been looking, can't find anything. I know there has been a lot of talk around a mac tablet, but since the mac pro and now the imac are both available in quad core, shouldn't be too long before we see a quad core macbook! Any thoughts?

Keen to see a 15" i5 with usb 3 and a blu ray rom...

Cool, been to busy at work to be reading engadget every day so I though i would just ask here. I've been converting my dvd collection to blu ray, and i would like to sometimes watchw hen the power is out but i cant on my current mac book. Would be nice to see them offer a version that is drive less and a version with a drive. Also more than two USB ports would be REALLY NICE!

I was hoping to see esata too, but I guess USB3 will replace it?

Quad core 13" is what I'm interested in though.

We won't see quad core, but 32nm dual core with Hyperthreading for four virtual cores.

Yea i rate usb 3 will trump esata. 13" Quad would b nice, but like the imac i rate the quad will only come in the bigger version (so 15/17).

Synaesthesia what makes you say that ? I want 4 physical cores with HT for up to 8 virutal cores ;P

From everything I've read, the consensus at the moment seems to be that we will see Core i5 and i7 dual core chips (but with hyper threading) in the Macbook Pro 13", 15" and 17", and we might have a Quad Core option in the 15" and 17".

The real question to me is not chips, but what GFX we will see. Nvidia is not producing chipsets for the new processors, so we won't see the 9400m again (barring something surprising and amazing both legally and technically).

Doesn't really matter what brands we get, as long as it performs :p Keen to get a 15" MBP but i cant justify buying one now... Need to wait for somemore power :p

I bet they'll go Intel integrated.

I doubt it, it will still be 2 cores.

I hope I'm wrong.

After what happened to my MBP this morning I hope they're released the same day they're announced.
