Any truth in this FB post regarding loadshedding?

I found this FaceBook message that is being shared.
Any truth in it?
I've asked for a link to source, but i'm not sure if it is shared over and over, that the source would necessarily be known.

*BREAKING LOADSHEDDING NEWS* As from the June 5th loadshedding will be taking place daily as from 6H00am-10H00am & again from 17H00pm-21H00pm daily. Please spread the news as this will surely impact on your daily routine....

Wats your common sense saying
Mine saying false

Well I hope it is and I do think it is BS, but I need to know.
I run a racing forum and loadshedding is already hurting us badly.
This has the possibility to kill online racing for us.

Some guys are already renting or have bought generators or other backup solutions, but not everybody can afford it.

I've posted the question now on Eskom's FaceBook page, but I don't get the idea that they answer questions or comments.

Can't be true, Eskom promised us from 1 June there will be NO load shedding. And we all know eskom keeps to their word :)

Not sure what hours municipalities will be blacked out for non payment tho (only have a problem if staying in one of these)

The City of Johannesburg intends to introduce peak pricing tariffs during June, supposedly between 07h00 - 10h00 and 18h00 - 22h00 (or similar).

Daily load shedding between 06h00 and 10h00 would kill industry ...

Are you in a municipality in arrears that hasn't negotiated a deal with Eskom regarding payment?

So lets see, did you check if Eskom had posted a press release with such a statement?

If you can't find such a thing on Eskom's site, or ALL over every bloody major news site, then its safe to call the person who shared it a completely fscking moron.

+1

People posting such rubbish on FB must have a serious mental retardation. :wtf:

"Please spread the news" lol

Why would I spread unverified news like that? I call BS.

It's FB so probably true. I had an argument with some Christian there the other day for pointing out the "newspaper" article indicating the finding the skull of Goliath was false, he didn't like it so I left him with his delusions. Yesterday they had a photo of some Octopus female thing too, so FB is the go to site for all sorts of discoveries and news.

Please post a FB link to this so we can all ridicule the person for being a fscking moron.

No, not on that list that was posted.

I did look on the Eskom site and that Media desk one, but haven't found anything recent. There are so many post though, that I gave up.

An ex colleague of mine shared some else's post and because it looked dodgy, I asked the other person for the source and she said "cradock speakout". I'm not sure what that is. I asked if it was community newspaper or something, but did not receive an answer.
I've asked the people from my municipality if they know anything and are waiting for feedback.

You don't need to ask, its BS.

If there's no link to a source, it's BS. Geez, don't you people learn?
