Anybody else struggling with Amobia performance recently?

Glad to hear that.

I've also had a few ups and downs with my link speed. As recently as Thursday I was struggling to get 2 megs consistently, then since Friday it's been back up to 4, even during the major storm we had yesterday.
 
Needless to say after a full unit replacement I am still having the same issue.

Now I get a phone call about 5 times a day asking how my experience is. Usually I would love this kind of service but the fact that they don't update support calls on their system means i have to explain what is happeneing to each different person that contacts me.

I have given them till friday to have my connection at 100% or I am cancelling.
 
Well I just got a call for the sale person for the area, could barely get a word in edgewise
I called up this post to make sure I had the correct company before committing to anything to read to her some of the issues regarding support and follow up on support calls.
When I tried to explain that I have been having endless problems with Telkom and before I could get the words out that support is a big deal for me and I cannot go through not having calls etc returned like being experienced by people on this topic she cut over me again to say "but that's adsl and we are wireless" Im sorry if you cannot even be willing to listen to me before I start paying how is it going to go after I start paying.
 
Centurion, Eco Park to be more specific.

I have a friend who has a rock solid connection in JHB. Looks like this is just a crappy high site I'm connected to.

Besides that I give them a 1/10 for support and will never recommend this company to anyone. Not even to an enemy of mine.
