nope just tried it, nothing happend (note, I'm conncted to it by USb not ethernet)

Then me thinks it only works with the driver/software CD & you create a PPPoE dailup connection as standard......no router/bridge/half-bridge settings

my friend says there is a way to cong\fig it I just need to enable 2 sessions at a time

Its not a router, its only a modem. You can only do PPPOE through windows, thats it.

I am no expert, but it looks like one of the early original ADSL devices Telkom used to give out. Does it have 1 ethernet port by any chance? If so, hook up a cable to it, and in theory you should get a DHCP address, so then you can go into the web management interface at 10.0.0.2.

If it doesn't have an ethernet port, then I have no clue.

I think you right about the early modem part, but its only got a USB and Telephone line ports on it

It's one of the earliest ADSL devices Telkom brought out back in the day, it's a modem only, not a router.
