Any advice on buying from where and with what alternative accessories (e.g. Bobovr Head Strap Pro S3 and BobVR battery)? I am looking for Quest 3 512GB version. My search is below. Many with either no stock of 512GB or not selling Quest 3 at all. Some are stated as parallel imports. The delivery charge is from R0 to R150 and within 2 to 15 days.

Are you wanting the 512GB version to store a lot of movies? I found less storage is fine, you generally don't play multiple different games / the ones you do are smaller (like pistol whip), or I generally stream from PC.

The Bobo pro with battery is excellent, got the fan version and it's quite nice in summer or sweaty games, the fan is audible though once over like 20%.

And bought the 2 via Amazon.com in south Africa, didn't have any need to return though.
Quest 3 I bought locally/in Europe.

I would also recommend you get straps that go across the knuckles so can just let go, and facial cover that's not stock.

I will probably store very few movies
 
In my experience the battery straps are a hinderence

I have a quest 3 and the stock strap works really well.

Had a quest 2 before with Bobo and it made contact with my chair headrest. Not great

Stock quest3 is solid

Got mine from Amazon.co.uk - at checkout you can see full import fees.
- Get Amazon prime trial in Uk for further discounts on accessories mentioned by Johnatan.
Likely to find fair discounts next week (prime day 8-11 July)

Regardless of where you get it through locally - will be parallel import.
 
I have a 512 Quest 3 and am really happy with the storage size, it's worth it imo. I haven't had to worry about space at all, and I have quite a few titles installed.

For a headstrap I was going to go the battery route but I'm glad I didn't as personally I'm done before the battery is, motion sickness and all that.

I ended up getting this one, and am very happy with it.

The generic strap that comes with it trash, and the best thing I bought for mine was the kiwi. I've also got a nifty stand for the headset and controllers (non charging one).
