Anyone completed P90X?

Here is some info from wikipedia.

90X, or Power 90 Extreme, is a home exercise system developed by Tony Horton in conjunction with Beachbody, which improves physical fitness in 90 days through a rigorous periodizationalized training program. The program emphasizes full-body fitness, and consists of strength and cardiovascular training using circuits, intervals, and plyometrics, as well as yoga, core, and stretching workouts that are divided into three 30-day phases, combined with a nutrition and optional supplementation plan.
P90X brings athlete-type training to the laymen (many athletes and coaches were consulted) and stresses the importance of what it calls "muscle confusion" (a term for adding variety through cross-training and periodization), so it switches the order of exercises and incorporates new movements during each phase.[1] According to Horton, muscle confusion prevents the body from adapting to exercises over time, resulting in continual improvement without plateaus.[2]

I like the idea of full body fitness.

Just completed Day 2. You should see how good Horton looks I wold have guessed him in his 30s but he is actually 45.

Starting on Monday...with my wife. We finished Body for life back in 2006 and in 2008 we let ourselves go again. We will finish this.

Cool man I just completed Day 5 It's getting easier now I have to admit.

Hellooooo.....?

So did you manage to finish this?

We are currently doing just the Yoga and CardioX programs for weight loss purposes and until we are fit enough to start the complete program.

Must say this has to be the toughest home exercise program I have tried to date.

Hi Guys

I found I've that these home exercises are too boring for me to stick to. So currently I gym 1 day then cycle or Jog 1 day. The Yoga and stuff are very good on P90x thou.

I'm assuming that you did it alone at home?

I've tried home stuff on my own before and it doesn't work. The motivation is not there when you do it alone.

So we are currently three people lining up each night. I've Lost about 3Kg in the first week and are now entering Week 2.

Still sweating like a pig each time we do the CardioX program. The yoga is slightly less intense but it still burns like hell after about 25min or so.

Jip did it alone. You are right if you want to get fit quickly then P90x is for you.

It looks really good to look at but not something you'd want to try at home alone.

Best is to join a gym. Their spinning classes are awesome.

Day 7 and still going, subtle changes already. I really can recommend, although Yoga and Cardio DVDs are a little repetative, and "Arms & Back DVD" has over a 100 pull ups.

GF and I are doing together. If after photos are decent will post. Starting off pretty big (around 20% BF) so other people can decide if they want to give it a shot - not following any specific diet

Husband and I are doing P90X3. I don't like the idea of working out an hour a day - I know for a fact that I won't keep at it. 30min a day is much more achievable

Have not done P90X but completed the mens health dela fit DVDS. Just need some basic equipment to do it.
