Seems legit - you should email him.
 
Nope. But this sounds dodge to me. Why should you have to send the email to the PRO and why should you include the picture? Seems to me the PRO should be contacting you not the other way around. I wouldn't respond if I were you.
 
Scammers are now targeting LinkedIn because the other loopholes have been tightened elsewhere

"Hi James, if this is for Apple then why is the Public Relation Officer using a Yahoo account?"

And another I got last month:
