Anyone else getting DNS problems?

Glad to see I wasn't the only one suffering on the weekend.

Eventually used proxy details gleaned from mybroadband. Sorted most of the timeout issues.

I was ready to kill Webafrica, I blamed them, but now that I see it was a general saix fault, I am glad I didn't kick up a fuss.
 
I also had dns issues, so I used the OpenDNS dns servers and it came right. I got the settings from on of the other threads.
 
Gateway Timeout
The following error occurred:

 A gateway timeout occurred. The server is unreachable. Retry the request.
Please contact the administrator. 

Crap dammit, What the hell is going on, is the caching system crapping on it self or something just as I thought it was getting better it is getting worse, every other site fails with the top message... A page I accessed yesterday that was still in my tabs, today is now giving this Gateway timeout bollocks! I am not going to use OpenDNS, this is a service which I am paying for, I didn't ask for some cheap option where you don't have dns!!! Has anyone been able to isolate the problem? 

I am on WebAfrica prepaid: so I think it is saix?
Thus far it only seams to affect overseas sites, but not all only some? no way of telling where the sites are exactly.
