Anyone else having MTN data connection problems today July 30?

Is anyone else having MTN data connection problems today July 30 or is it just me or my local area? My card picks up and identifies the signal, but just can't seem to make the connection -- which has been good for ages, without any changes to my own system. Anyone know if MTN data is having a problem?

Well i found that MTN disconnects you if your cap is gone so first check that.
And call that 1555 number.

Think the helpfull people on this forum died or are hiding from whiners.

Has been off/on authentication errors for the past week tho
 
E272.....using Hauwei firmware/software.... Usually the service has been pretty solid....occasionally it won't accept a log on lately is all......5-10 mins later its ok....Maybe they doing some work.

Up - 1042 kbps
Ping - 310ms
 
Phone data connectivity has been appaling all month. My iPhone is becoming useless. Blackberry and vodacom iPhones are all good. This is MTN!!

Yes, I was able to connect, DNS worked fine but no data came down. (3G on Nokia 6680). Haven't tried today though. Usually I'm on DSL.
 
The original post which started this thread was from 2008! Not sure how it managed to arise zombie-like from the dead, but I think it can safely be confirmed that MTN has managed to resolve some of its issues in the meantime..... :-)
 
You spoke too soon. ALL MTN data is down. No internet connectivity at all
