Just curious to know if anyone else is having problems with their Yahoo mail.

I've had a few people ask me why they can no longer read their mail once logged into the Yahoo web interface. Some can't even get to that point, it just gives an error to them. Others log in, see their mail, but when trying to read it the page is blank. They take the same laptop and plug it into an adsl line and it works fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

It happens to me from time to time. Some Javascript errors. It goes away by itself.

The same thing however happened with Hotmail. I had a few people with 3G complaining they can access it but then they cant do anything and with an ADSL line they can.

I was on the Full version of Hotmail, and they were on the classic, and mine worked fine. I suggested they get on a ADSL line and change to full. They never came back.

But i dunno what the deal is with Yahoo. I use the Beta version though.

Maybe the internetvpn APN would make a difference?

This could be related to problems myself & others are having with Facebook, a whole lot of links dont work properly while using 3G, for instance the "send" button on messages doesnt do anything when clicked. Same issues on FF, IE & Opera, and I've installed the latest version of Java

Any suggestions on this one?

Hmm...

I don't have any hassles on my Yahoo, so i can't give any advice to the people asking. I assumed it was something to do with Yahoo updating their service and certain accounts over a certain age would be affected.

I'll suggest they try the internetvpn apn switch and see if that makes a difference. Otherwise suggest they upgrade their accounts.

Thanks again

The internetvpn APN does indeed resolve the Facebook issue, and yes, it USED to work on the internet APN in the past.

MySpace also does strange things, on both APNs. I noticed with some sites, like MySpace, the results depend on your browser. For some sites with Firefox you get a "connection reset" yet they work with Explorer on the same connection.

Internetvpn is the way to go
