Anyone else just get double-charged by FNB?

Only FNB and Standard Bank? This happened to me yesterday using a ABSA account, it was a Nedbank card terminal.

Not sure why only some banks would be affected. Surely every single bank that was present in that transactional file is affected. I think local news is just hearing about some of what's going on.

I hope Nedbank doesn't get a free pass over this. Can't imagine how awful this must be if you happened to buy something significant and then had that amount run again. Maxing out your credit limit, preventing important payments etc. It shouldn't be technically possible for stuff like this to happen. So much for Verified by VISA.

All banks, yes.

Can't find the fnb multiple int fee charges thread... seems this happened again?

I have like 4 to 5 times the same int fee for a single transaction.

All the shilling you’re doing for FNB finally paying off?
Looks like it. I have 3 transactions that have reversed back into my account. Even my McDonald’s purchase from last night seems to have reversed. My balance is back to how it was before the purchase and the transaction doesn’t appear anywhere in my trans list. Not even under the pending tab. I have no idea what is going on. It’s as if the purchases never happened.
