It seems that some people are having difficulties with roaming GPRS charges, specifically overcharging by service providers. In one case a bill reflects that 1 Gig of data was downloaded during a 4 hour session on the GPRS network - which is highly unlikely if not impossible.

Anyone who
- feels they have been overcharged (i.e. in a specific sense)
- has not received a detailed and accurate bill reflecting actual usage
- has a related difficulty

pls pm me with some details and contact information.

Thanks.

I was overcharged/incorrectly charged

I was just billed over R2800 for "illegal packet downloads"
I had a myChoice Topup 75 (R75 airtime) and they say that I had illegally dloaded over 1.4 gigs from mid Feb-end April. How the heck is this possible ?? I only had R75 airtime ! I they have made a mistake I have a problem - since Icannot prove that they are wrong or that I am right. Another problem also arrises - my phone was stolen round the same time - but by their records it states that a couple of days after this happened I reported my phone stolen
Please help !!! They want the money from me before Mid-day tomorrow.
