Anyone having problems with Sainet...

Hi

I just wanted to ask, is anyone else having a problem with their sainet account?

Last month it just stopped connecting to the network, so I assumed that the cap was finished.

But I tried this morning and I keep getting the message, "check your user name and password"

Any ideas?
 
They are having constant issues with authentication....I phoned them a 9:30am and they said that they were having problems trying to reload this months cap!!

Wow... They work on Sundays?

Did they give you any indication about when they'll be back up?
 
ja I was suprises when they answered phone.....I phoned again at 12:30 and they still busy on it...
 
I'm not on my sainet account yet this month...but someone I know is having troubles connecting with her dialup account. Just went there to check and double check the username and password. Something wrong on their side. Hopefully they can fix it quickly.
 
Their bandwidth monitor stopped working halfway through last month and it hasn't started counting (or even recognising your assigned IP's :eek:) for this month. I wonder if they can still tell how much we're using for flexibill?

I can still log in fine though.
 
I saw that the monitor stopped early last month yes. But their capping system still worked 100%. Got capped at around the same time of the month as always. That usage, after the monitor stopped, shows now at least.

I'm also logged in fine now. Not sure if the dailup works now though...
 
That one is just worse to read (colour scheme etc.) and it shows some random numbers for me, with no real usage dates or IP's. It claims I have 13GB and have used 6.48GB of that in the 2 days of this month. :(

The "DATA LEFT" figure seems to be spot on though,

Anyone using their account as a dailup account aswell? I need to test and see if that problem was also fixed, but my 56k modem ain't exactly playing along here... :(
 
The thing that irritated me the most is that they didn't say sorry for the inconvenience caused or give us an estimation of how long the issue will take to fix!

Webafrica on the other hand would have been on the forums telling us what went wrong and when they going to fix it etc etc....poor service from SAINET!

I see my Data Left is (probably) correct too. I suppose that is all I really need, but it's obviously quite badly broken.

The site was never great and it might look a tiny bit better, or worse, now. It can't be that hard to use a nice neutral colour scheme and vaugley match things up. :confused:
