I have set up my Netgear DG834 to forward port 9999 (for the sake of this question) to my PC (192.168.0.2).

1) Created a service "azureus" with port 9999 TCP/UDP.
2) Created an inbound rule to Always Allow and to Send To 192.168.0.2.

Azureus
Tools / Options / Connection / incoming TCP listen port = 9999.
Then Tools / NAT-Firewall Test / Test = NAT Error.

Also opened these ports on the PC's software firewall.

Azureus help pages say that there is a NAT or port forwarding problem.

Torrent downloads seem to be working, but I never get a Green Smilie Face and I up not sure if I am uploading.

Advise please. :)

No need to do that ... just enable uPnP on your Netgear and Azeureus will open up the ports for itself.

I do have uPnP enabled, thought it only opened ports for outgoing traffic. Odd thing is Azureus seems to work, the port test always fails though.
